At Tints and Films LTD, we are committed to delivering high-quality window film solutions for residential and commercial clients. To ensure transparency and customer satisfaction, we outline our Refund and Warranty Policies below. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Refund Policy
1.1 No Refunds on Completed Installations
Once a window film installation is completed, we do not offer refunds. We encourage customers to thoroughly review and approve all project details, including film selection and installation specifications, before proceeding.
1.2 Refunds for Defective Products
If a product is found to be defective prior to installation, we will offer one of the following options:
A replacement of the defective product.
A refund for the cost of the defective product.
The defect must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Proof of defect (e.g., photos, description) will be required for review.
1.3 Cancellation Policy
Before Installation: Customers may cancel an installation project prior to the scheduled appointment. In such cases, a full refund (minus any administrative or preparation fees) will be issued.
Same-Day Cancellations: Cancellations made on the day of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee.
2. Warranty Policy
2.1 Warranty Coverage
We provide warranties for our products and installation services. The terms of the warranty depend on the specific film type and installation service. Typical coverage includes:
Protection against bubbling of the film.
Protection against fading.
Warranty details will be provided in your service agreement.
2.2 Warranty Duration
The warranty period varies by product:
Residential Window Films: Up to lifetime
Commercial Window Films: Lifetime
Please refer to your service agreement for the specific warranty duration applicable to your project.
2.3 Exclusions
Our warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by improper care or cleaning (e.g., use of abrasive materials or harsh chemicals).
Weather-related damage (e.g., hail, extreme temperatures).
Customer misuse or unauthorized alterations to the installation.
Normal wear and tear

Tints and Films LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our maximum liability is limited to the original cost of the product or service.
3.2 Governing Law
These policies are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these policies shall be resolved in Canadian courts.
